Hello Everyone! I hope you all had great weeks :)

My week was pretty eventful I suppose!

Elder Bednar came to our mission on Wednesday and it was so special. I learned so many lessons it would be hard to write them all down. I definitely invite each of you to study his conference talks closely. I honestly think that the things I learned from the spirit during that meeting have changed my life.

Definitely a highlight of my mission!

Here are some of the other things we did this week!

-We got our new companion, which has been good

-We took this guy from Tokyo on a tour around Sapporo, and went to this cool old village here. Twas fun haha

-That same guy came to church with us the next day! Pretty surprising, but it was a good experience

-We played sports with some members in the ward, that was a lot of fun. Hopefully we will have some of our friends coming weekly to our sports night

-We had lots of fun little experiences while streeting this week. Nighttime is where it's at for streeting.

-Had an old drunk guy get mad at us and try to hit us haha

Anyway, it was a really good week, and we're really looking forward to this week. 

I have an invitation though!! General conference is coming up right? Don't write anything anyone says! Only write down the promptings and the things you learn from the Holy Ghost. Promise it'll be worth it!

ヤッホー！！

This week was pretty good! We didn't have anything too crazy happen but here's what we did!

-got transfer calls! I'm staying here in this area with Kobayashi Chourou, and we're getting a new missionary too! So exciting

-We went to a waterfall last pday, which was really pretty

-A guy that we talked to while ago while streeting came to our English class this week! And he brought his friends, too

-We saw a deer while it was late at night and it was kind of spooky haha. For a second I thought it was a bear

-We had a barbeque with a member couple on Saturday! It was so tasty :) and the weather was perfect!

-the biggest thing that happened was we had 4 new missionaries come join us! They all flew into Sapporo really late, so we had to stay up to welcome them to our apartment, and now we're working as a 6 man! Church was really fun because of that haha

Ok that's about it! Not too much crazy going on this week!

Fishin' Time!!

This week was really fun! We were in that Muroran city until Wednesday morning, then the rest of the week was normal!

Muroran was so pretty! It's kind of a small town, and it's right by the ocean. I felt much joy walking down the streets there haha.

In Muroran we:

-went early morning fishing

-went to the beach a couple times

-went to this Ainu place, which is the equivalent of native Americans in Japan. So cool. 

As far as the rest of the week goes, we did our normal thing, but here's some highlights!

-had dinner with our hilarious bishop and his family

-we said bye to one of the members who left on his mission! Also his brother and sister in law had the cutest little baby, and we got to meet her!

We have some really good potentials for new people this week that we're excited about! I think this is gonna be a good one!

Zone Conference and stuff

 

こんにちは！

This week, not much happened! Haha it was a pretty normal week

We did have zone conference! It was a really good meeting. I love getting to see all the other missionaries together and learn together. So much fun!

Stuff that happened this week... hmmm..

-Had a really fun zone pday, playing games and had pizza all together!

-Had dinner with a member couple, and it felt so much like a member meal in texas! It was kind of a weird feeling haha

-yesterday we went to a place called Muroran for exchanges! It's a small town by the ocean, so today we're gonna go fishing and go to an Ainu village!

こんにちは！！

I don't have a ton of time to email this week, but it was a pretty good one! Here's the rundown!

-we became the ad team for the mission so we made a couple ads this week!

-I met a missionary that used to serve here that a bunch of people have said we're super similar. It was kind of a weird feeling because we were super similar haha

-Our English class was really fun this week!! We had some cool success with it!

-My favorite person I ever taught in Texas got baptized, and thanks to the awesome missionaries there I got to attend over zoom!! It was so fun

-Did exchanges with Elder Yoshizawa who started his mission the same time as me. He's hilarious

That was about all, sorry I have no time!!

Visitin' the boonies

Hey everyone! I hope you had a good week :) my week was pretty busy haha

We did some fun fun stuff though. 

Here's the rundown!

-for pday we made crepes as a district! They had some handy little machines to make them

-We had some たらこスパゲッティ which was pretty good. It's basically fish egg spaghetti. Kinda weird haha

-we had a lot of travel this week too! We went to a place called Kushiro and surprised the missionaries that are banished there haha

-It's such a small town, it was so quiet there!

-We did a ton of housing there, so that was a good time!

-After the 5 hour bus ride back to Sapporo we had dinner with a family and their little son was so cute haha

-On Sunday we had やきにく with the best family I've met on my mission. They're so cool! Their little son was super cute too haha

That was about how my week went! It was really good and we saw some great miracles. God really cares about our joy. If you're having a hard time feeling joy feel free to reach out to me, I'd love to help you find more :)

Scared out of her wits

I hope you all had a good week! This one was pretty long, but it was a good one. We had to say goodbye to Elder Johnson and Elder sandy last pday, and now it's just me and Elder Kobayashi again! So that's been fun. The apartment is a lot quieter, but also a lot cleaner haha

Here are some highlights!

-We biked up a mountain and visited a graveyard up there. It was so pretty there, it was unreal!

-We went housing at this apartment complex and a little girl was home alone when we knocked, so she answered and just started crying her eyes out. We tried to figure out why, and she said her parents weren't home, so she was scared having strangers knock while she was alone haha. When we left I think she wasn't scared of us, but we said we would come again to meet her parents haha

-We went to an art museum with our recent convert and pushed him and another member around the place in wheelchairs. It was pretty fun, a bunch of cool Egyptian stuff for some reason

-Had a cool miracle come from fasting this week, we were fasting and praying for this kid in the ward to go to FSY and it was really last minute, but he decided to go!

It was a pretty good week! We stay busy so that's good! And the weather has been cooling off a bit too, so that's great!
